#16 - Hunt Food Or Become Food

We were staying in Knysna, South Africa in a lovely little hostel and one day we drove to a beautiful and tiny island called “leisure island”. What an interesting and suitable name, I thought.

We went for a walk right next to the ocean - it was a bay and the water was therefore very calm. Somewhere we found an insightful walk with lots of information about the under water world on the island. What I wanted to share with you is what we read about seahorses:

Seahorses have excellent eyesight and their eyes are able to work independently on either side of their head. This means they can look forwards and backwards at the same time! This is particularly useful as they hunt for food by sight.

I thought it to be very useful and thinking about our current situation, freedom of speech and what is happening all around the world, it’s very important not to focus only in one direction but also be aware what is happening around us to react appropriate.
